A smooth fit through the measured absorption coefficients k (atm, 298 K)-1 cm-1 (base e) for CH2=CH2 and CD2=CD2 depicted in Fig. 2 has been digitized and converted to absorption cross sections (conversion factor 4.06×10-20)
