COMMENTS: Overtone absorption lines of 12C16O2 have been examined by using a tunable diode laser spectrometer in the region around 790 nm which allowed the detection of the line positions within 0.01 cm-1

The listed absorption lines belong to the 2ν2 + 5ν3 ro-vibrational band (R branch) with rotational quantum number J up to 40, and the absorption cross-section peak values for the more intense lines are given
