COMMENTS: IUPAC(2004) recommendation:

The recommended absorption cross-section values at 273 K for the wavelength range 175-362 nm are averaged values for the standard spectral intervals used in atmospheric modelling calculations (intervals No. 47-105: 175.439-176.991, 176.991-178.571,......, 307.692-312.5, 312.5-317.5,........, 357.5-362.5nm; first column: long-wavelength end of interval)

These values have been adopted from earlier evaluations (JPL-97(1997), IUPAC(1997)) which accepted the values tabulated in the WMO(1986) review, except for the region 185-225 nm where the values were taken from the study of
